United Way
Designating The Junior League of Phoenix, Incorporated (JLP) on your United Way form ensures that your donation goes further in the community. JLP programs provide funds, volunteers and facilitation assistance throughout the Metro Phoenix community. The focus area of JLP is on programs and projects that improve early childhood education.
When given the opportunity at your workplace to donate to the United Way, please consider designating your funds specifically to The Junior League of Phoenix, Incorporated programs.
JLP is not listed on the United Way Account Form provided by most employers, so you must write the appropriate JLP number on the form (provided below):

East Valley United Way Number: 2520
One current JLP programs is a partnership with the Girl Scouts. The program targets girls ages 5-12 from economically challenged and ethnically diverse neighborhoods in the East Valley and serves over 500 girls a year on the first Saturday of each month.
Different educational themes are presented at each meeting, and a continental breakfast and snack are provided to the girls. Most girls arrive hungry because they rely on the free and reduced breakfast program on school days and do not have this resource on Saturdays.
