Boards in Gear covers the five main areas of strong board practice: Connection to cause, roles and responsibilities, how to build a great board, sustain a great board, and engage board members in fundraising. It anchors each unit in why it matters and provides helpful tools to help learners act on what they learn.

We will cover topics such as:

The 4 W’s of Board Service: Why, What, Who & How

Play the Boards in Gear board game in breakout rooms!

This session is ideal for those who:

Are currently serving on a board and want to further their board knowledge

Have some board experience but want to take their skills to the next level

Are considering board service for the first time and want to build upon their basic knowledge

(This session is a perfect follow up to our Apr. 20 Board Basics training!)
