City of Phoenix & JLP Partner Together for Phoenix Food Day and HealthFest

In the time of COVID-19, Zoom meetings, working remotely and teaching our children common core math from home in our pajamas has become the “new normal.” Health and wellness – although at the forefront with COVID-19 in terms of washing our hands and wearing our masks (#maskuparizona) – can sometimes be challenging to maintain. Quarantine has definitely changed our daily lives, both here in The Valley and around the world. Now, more than ever, it is important to maintain health and wellness, physically and mentally.

Along with the City of Phoenix, Junior League of Phoenix is excited to be hosting its annual Phoenix Food Day and HealthFest on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2020 at the Cartwright Community Garden. In compliance with state and CDC social distancing recommendations, this year’s family-friendly event will be a drive through and attendees will be provided with awesome goody bags full of numerous health and wellness resources, gift cards, recipes, gardening kits, fun activities and more! Attendees will also have a chance to win other additional gifts and prizes! Register for FREE online now at https://www.phoenix.gov/oep/fooddayregister
