JLP Member Crystal Huggins is also the owner of the much-beloved “The Modern Betty,” a bakery based out of Gilbert. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, Crystal and her husband pivoted right away. Not only did they move their cookie business online, but they began 3D printing masks for healthcare workers. The masks were given to frontline workers for free, and since March, The Modern Betty has printed 400+ masks. They are now offering the masks to the general public, as well, for a $10 donation.
