Community Impact Projects

The Junior League of Phoenix (JLP) Community Impact projects are volunteer-led, one-day projects that support an urgent need in our community.  The Community Impact Committee strives to offer a variety of shifts so that JLP members can Valley_Impacthelp with something they are passionate about. Highlights from the 2014 – 2015 year include members participating in a flash mob, making valentines cards for vulnerable youth, making dinner with those in need, the diet soda experiment, making masks with kids in the community, reading to kids, delivering meals to seniors, and playing games with the kids at Fresh Express and getting to shop for great produce.

JLP Community Impact projects and Done in a Night donations support the Junior Leagues commitment to “Building a Healthy Arizona” through providing information on and access to healthy, nutritious food, while addressing food insecurity, nutrition education and obesity. JLP Community Impact projects and Done in a Night donations also support additional immediate critical needs in Maricopa County.
