The Volunteer Center (formerly the Volunteer Bureau) is a United Way agency that refers volunteers to other non-profit agencies. The center was started by JLP in 1962. The Volunteer Center brings together valley residents who would like to do volunteer work but don’t know where to apply and community service organizations need the help of volunteers.
