JLP began what is known today as the Ronald McDonald House. The was originally operated by Accent On Kids, a non-profit corporation comprised of JLP members, McDonalds restaurant owners/operators, medical professionals, parents and community leaders.

The Ronald McDonald house is a home away from home for families with seriously ill children needing medical treatment in the Phoenix area. It provides a warm and comfortable environment near the hospitals, and the emotional support of families in similar situations.
